• Basic Account Info — Such as your display name and profile image, to identify you within groups.
• App Data — Details shared by you and your groups.

We do not collect marketing data or sell your information to third parties.

3. SMS & One-Time Passcodes

We use your phone number only to send one-time passcodes for secure sign-in. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. No marketing or promotional messages will ever be sent.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to operate Splitrick and provide essential functionality, including:

• Authenticating users with OTPs.
• Storing and retrieving your expense and group information.
• Improving reliability and performance of the app.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain user and group data only as long as necessary to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting privacy@splitrick.app.

All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS and secure authentication methods. We continuously monitor for security and compliance best practices.

7. Children's Privacy

Splitrick is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that information was collected from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
